Always in search for inspiration, Increation headed to the ExCel centre in London to attend this year’s May Design Series. As lots of products and companies are under one roof, trade shows are a great way of finding inspiration and getting the creative juices flowing. Allow us to treat you with our top picks of this week’s May Design Series at ExCel in London.
EBB&FLOW.
Danish lighting specialist EBB & FLOW launched their Spring collection at the May Design Series this week. The British and Nordic combined style creates a modern edge and inspiring shapes.
Materia.
Materia caught Increation’s eyes with their amazing Havvalon series where polyester tiles are filled with all sorts of materials; leaves, grass, shells, dried flowers and even spices.
Tom Raffield.
Tom Raffields stand really was one of the hightlights at the May Design Series. We interviewed Tom Raffield a while ago about his stunning steam pressed furniture and it was a pleasure to see his work so beautifully showcased.
Jay Watson.
Jay Watson is an independent designer and maker, with passion for exploring material and inventive designs. Watson’s Bio Mass lights are collected around his home in Oxfordshire and rather than cutting and polishing the branches into perfect timber planks, Watson decided preserve the unique organic shape, showing the beauty of pure nature.
Daniel Shoffield.
These stunning pendants were inspired on the goblets that used to be made in Sheffield. Available in three different colours, we think these pedants are very industrial-chic.
