Karen & Brian's Traditional Country Kitchen

Brian and Karen Tarling came to us to help them modernise their family home in two phases. Phase one saw us creating a new kitchen space that was a true cooks kitchen that allowed for dining with the whole family. The space needed bringing up to date with modern technology, whilst the design was traditional quality.

The family kitchen was created out of solid oak and it was hand painted in a period style. With the young generation coming up through the house it was essential to mix this with up to date technology.

Karen wanted a real cooks kitchen as well as a family kitchen, so we created a cooking island with its own prep sink and a breakfast bar for the kids to sit at.
